About the 5th year of Reiwa Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Awards

Our Executive Creative Director, Ryu Kosaka, received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award for Meritorious Service in Construction Business in 2025. The reason for the commendation is "for many years he worked diligently in design administration supervision industry and contributed to the development of the industry as an officer of related organizations."

Below are Kosaka's comments on receiving the award.

Receiving the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Commendation (Construction Business Related Merit)

In 2001, I joined the Japan Commercial environmental design Association (JCD) as a corporation, but when I received a phone call from Mr. Naoki Iijima, the chairman at the time, who said, "I want you to expand your horizons beyond the framework of NOMURA, Ltd. to develop young people in the industry," I started working in the concept design industry in earnest.
 

In my current work, I have won awards, won international competitions, established AND, and expanded my work as a space concept design, continuing to serve as a judge for the JCD concept design, which is a gateway to success for young people, for 10 years.
Since 2016, he has worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo's Department of Architecture, conveying the "interest of space concept design" to students.
These activities were highly evaluated by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism this year.

We are honored that our creative work has been recognized for the "interestingness of space concept design" and "space makes society and people happy", and we hope that it will lead to further social standing.
