On July 1st, Spa World Hotel & Resort reopened after renovations. NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was responsible for design supervision and production of the pool, as well as the design and construction of the lobby.
NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of the design and construction of the pool and lobby, among other things, for the renewal of "Spa World Hotel & Resort" (formerly known as "Spa World World's Great Hot Springs"), which celebrated its 25th anniversary.
At the grand reopening ceremony held prior to the July 1st opening, our concept design, Akane Arimoto, explained the renewal concept, "Shinsekai Resort," which combines the entertainment elements that are the charm of Shinsekai and Spa World with the elements of a high-quality hotel and resort.
The pool area is designed as a luxurious resort space themed around "an adult spa where you can be healed by water and light," while the main building lobby has a different theme on each floor, creating a relaxing space where you can enjoy a different atmosphere on each level.
