In September 2022, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. entered into a capital and business alliance agreement with Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichi Ochiai and Taiichiro Murakami; hereinafter referred to as "PxDT"), a company that works to solve social issues through technological innovation.

 

PxDT has recently developed a transparent sound absorbing material "iwasemi RC-α" that harmonizes with glass as a new product of the innovative sound absorbing material "iwasemi" that uses acoustic metamaterial technology. "iwasemi RC-α" has a rectangular shape that can be used to create various layout patterns like tiles, and by using plant-derived bioengineering plastics, it has achieved a reduction in environmental impact and high transparency that blends well with glass. , is a sound absorbing material that can be applied to glass.

This product will be displays at the international trade show "Orgatec Tokyo 2023," held from April 26th to 28th, and is scheduled to be released around May 2023.

 

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. leveraged its expertise in interiors design and construction to provide support in areas such as aesthetics, economic dimensions, material feel (transparency), and details of joints considering installation.
