NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is the overall planning partner and operator of "Marunouchi Street Park 2022 Winter," which has expanded its area to include Gyokodori Street and is currently being held on the largest scale to date.

"Marunouchi Street Park" is a social experiment that has been conducted since 2019 to examine the future direction and utilization of Marunouchi Nakadori, and this will be its seventh iteration. NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. is participating as the overall planning partner and operations manager for "Marunouchi Street Park 2022 Winter." With the theme of "MSP Twinkle Street," the aim is to create a new winter scene and establish it as a seasonal tradition, delivering a memorable winter scene in Marunouchi for many people. The implementation on Gyokodori in addition to Marunouchi Nakadori is one of the few examples of integrated use of public spaces, and it is an initiative that contributes to "walkable urban development" in a place that symbolizes Japan and Tokyo. This project is a collaborative initiative with "Park Street Tokyo (*1)."

 

(*1) Park Street Tokyo: An integrated initiative to create a town where people can enjoy walking by utilizing road space, etc., in order to promote town development from cars to people. From 2020, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will collaborate with local organizations and local wards and cities to promote and publicize the event in an integrated manner.

 

Marunouchi Nakadori

Marunouchi Naka-dori has a heartwarming winter hall area where you can experience light ring toss, a merry-go-round on benches, and a cold outdoor area where you can enjoy popular street piano performances and take pictures with the twinkling Naka-dori in the background. However, there are areas where you can have fun. This time, we will also open a Christmas market and a kitchen car in cooperation with hotels and stores in the OMY area, and challenge various forms of installations on the road.

 

Gyoko Street

An eco-friendly resin skating rink has appeared on Gyoko-dori Street, which connects Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. You can experience an extraordinary experience in a symbolic place in front of Tokyo Station.
