NOMURA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") promotes "social good activities" that create a happy impact through business activities in order to realize a sustainable society. With the cooperation of Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks Co., Ltd., we provided one VIP room at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome for three days on August 31st, September 1st, and September 3rd, and set it up as a "sensory room" environment. . We invited children with sensory sensitivities and their families to conduct a trial event for the purpose of investigating the usage environment.

A "sensory room" is a space intended for people with symptoms such as autism spectrum symptoms, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), and people with characteristics such as sensory hypersensitivity to spend their time with peace of mind. is. Overseas, mainly in Europe, the United States and Australia, it is being introduced in spaces where large numbers of people gather, such as stadiums and airports. This time, in a quiet, glass-enclosed private room, we set up a simple space where we ``reduced the brightness of the room'' and ``adjusted the sensation of touching our hands and feet'', and had the participants experience it.

In this project, with the cooperation of Professor Ginga Sasaki of the University of Tsukuba, our company was in charge of designing the prototype of the trial space, selecting the interior, the operation on the day of the game, and conducting user interviews before and after the game. We will investigate and analyze data collection and analysis after the event in collaboration with Mr. Sasaki.

We will continue to conduct surveys and research activities on “sensory-friendly” spaces that are comfortable for everyone.
