We will hold a solo exhibition by Aju, an artist who draws landscapes of the heart, at our Osaka office.

As part of its social and cultural activities, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. collaborated with "Art Stream 2017" (organized by the Art Stream Executive Committee) to present NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Award to artist Aju, and we will be holding a solo exhibition of her work at our Osaka office.

This solo exhibition, Aju's first in three years, will feature approximately 60 works, both new and old. Among them, a 4-meter-long panoramic landscape painting that Aju spent two months creating based on her memories of the view from our Osaka office, and the original artwork for our Christmas cards, are particularly valuable pieces that can only be seen at this exhibition.

[Artist Profile] Aju
Born in Osaka in 1989.
Graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University in 2014.
In 2016, I worked for one year at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo.
In 2017, I completed the entire Tokaido Fifty-Three Stations route, from Nihonbashi in Tokyo to Sakai in Osaka, via Sanjo Ohashi in Kyoto, over 58 days.
In 2018, she began working as an artist in earnest. She painted a 4-meter panorama of the city of Osaka from memory.
