NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd. invests in Pixie Dust Technologies and signs a capital and business alliance agreement.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director President and CEO Shuji Enomoto Enomoto; hereinafter "NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd.") has invested in Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichi Ochiai and Taiichiro Murakami; hereinafter "PxDT"), which is working to solve social issues using technologies originating from academia, and has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement.

PxDT is a university-launched venture aiming to be a driving force in guiding the world towards a new equilibrium by viewing it from the perspective of digital technology. We contribute to this realization by researching and developing interface technologies that connect the digital and physical worlds and continuously implementing them in society.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. aims to solve social issues in real-world spaces and environments by leveraging the knowledge and network it has cultivated over more than 130 years since its founding, focusing on "space and experience." PxDT, on the other hand, aims to solve social issues with "digital technology" at its core by utilizing technology, including industry-academia collaboration, and implementing it in society.
