Designed, concept design and construction by NOMURA "Miwa Komatsu Exhibition Challenge Taro Okamoto - Spirituality and Mandala"

NOMURA Co., Ltd. was in charge of designing, concept design, and construction the "Miwa Komatsu Exhibition Challenge Taro Okamoto - Spirituality and Mandala" to be held at Taro Okamoto Museum of Art, Kawasaki City from Saturday, June 25, 2022. rice field.

Miwa Komatsu was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1984. From her experience of seeing the life and death of living things up close in the rich nature, she formed her own unique view of life and death. I began to draw motifs inspired by "something invisible" such as prayer. For Komatsu, who believes that "art is a medicine that heals the soul," the creation of works is accompanied by prayer and is a "shinto ritual." In this exhibition, "Next Mandala - Great Harmony", which will be dedicated to the Shingon sect's head temple "Toji" (Kyoogokokuji, Minami-ku, Kyoto) to commemorate the 1200th anniversary of the founding of the Shingon sect in 2023, will be exhibited.
