108 ART PROJECT in Toyota City Information on the Toyota City Station Front Art displays Project

The 108 ART PROJECT will be launched in 2021 with the aim of enriching the scenery of the town and contributing to the creation of a bustling town through the power of art. We are developing various projects, starting with temporary enclosure art for construction sites.

NOMURA Co., Ltd. also agrees with the purpose of this project and is collaborating as a partner.

This project was realized in collaboration with Toyota Town Development Co., Ltd., which is working to revitalize the city center of Toyota City. Art by Tomoyuki Washio, an artist from Aichi Prefecture, will be displays on the campus of the temporary enclosure that was installed along with the renovation work of Building A of T-FACE, a redevelopment building in the west exit of Toyota City Station. This time, NOMURA helped us with the selection of artists.

What is drawn on the campus is the story of “weaving” people and cities. How will citizens and visitors spend their time there after T-FACE and Toyota City's station square are reborn? Based on the concept of "Tsumugu", which is included in the building redevelopment project, artists will express it on the campus.
