NOMURA, Ltd. Starts Company-Wide Activities for “Social Good” to Create a Happy Impact on Society and Contribute to Solving Social Issues

"Social Good Week 2021" report, which was held in July 2020 and announced 13 cases, will be released sequentially

In order to realize a sustainable society, Nomura Co., NOMURA (hereafter, NOMURA, Ltd.) uses creativity to achieve both "social benefit" that contributes to emerging social issues and "business benefit" as a company. We will start group-wide “social good” activities that create a positive impact.

In March 2021, the Social Good Strategy Office was established to lead business activities from consulting to project launch. In addition, for four days from July 5th to 8th, 2021, we held "Social Good Week 2021" with external partners to present social good examples of the NOMURA Group, sharing knowledge and vision. . Our group's owned media "nomlog" will report on all programs and release them sequentially.

In the coming era, in order for companies to fulfill their social responsibilities, they are required to create a sustainable society by cooperating with external organizations as well as their own companies. At "Social Good Week 2021", we announced the social good projects that the NOMURA Group has been working on with our external partners.
