NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. and the Japan Wood Industry Association will be holding a seminar entitled "Connecting to the Future with Creativity that Utilizes Wood" on YouTube Live (free streaming) from 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. This seminar will re-examine sustainable ways of using domestically produced timber and its value, and together with creators and forestry and wood industry businesses in timber-producing regions, we will consider the possibilities of concept design empowers both forests and people, including the independent economic activities of the forestry and wood industry and the conservation of the forest environment.


NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Group launched the "Fairwood Project" in 2010, which utilizes domestically produced timber and certified forest timber in its business activities, and has been working to create spaces that contribute to a sustainable society as an industry. This seminar will be held as part of the "Morimachi Door" project, which is being undertaken in collaboration with the National Federation of Lumber Associations.
