NOMURA Co., Ltd. and the National Federation of Lumber Cooperatives will be on YouTube Live (free delivery) from 18:00 on March 3, 2021 (Wednesday), “Connecting to the future with creativity that makes use of wood”. It will be held. In this seminar, we will reconsider the sustainable use of domestic timber and its value, and discuss with creators the possibilities of concept design that utilizes both forests and people, such as the independent economic activities of the forestry and timber industries and the conservation of the forest environment. We will think about it together with forestry and timber industry businesses in timber production areas.

In 2010, the NOMURA Group started the "Fairwood Project," which utilizes domestically produced timber and forest certified timber in its business activities, and has been working together as an industry to create spaces that can contribute to a sustainable society. This seminar will be held as part of the "Morimachi Door" project in collaboration with the National Federation of Lumber Cooperatives.
