What is"GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA"?

"GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" is a facility in Yokohama that makes the dream of moving an 18-meter life-size Gundam a reality and allows visitors to experience it firsthand. It consists of two areas: "GUNDAM-DOCK," a deck where the "moving Gundam" is stored and maintenance work is carried out, and "GUNDAM-LAB," which houses displays where visitors can learn about the mechanisms of the "moving Gundam" in an enjoyable way. "GUNDAM-DOCK" also features "GUNDAM-DOCK TOWER," a special viewing deck that offers an impressive view of the "moving Gundam's" head and body from a height of 15-18 meters. Experience firsthand the fusion of Gundam, an IP that attracts a lot of attention from overseas, and Japanese craftsmanship and superior technological capabilities.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is pleased to announce that Masayoshi Kawahara of our company is participating in the "Gundam Global Challenge (GGC)" project, which involves moving a life-sized Gundam, as the GGC Creative Director. Furthermore, as a technical partner, we are responsible for the design, construction, and production planning of the "moving Gundam" itself, as well as the planning, design, layout and construction of the ACADEMY area, an displays facility within the "GUNDAM-LAB" complex where visitors can learn about the workings of the "moving Gundam" in an enjoyable way, providing comprehensive technical cooperation.
