Received "Eruboshi Certification (two stars)" from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare

On July 22, 2020, NOMURA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) was recognized by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as an excellent company based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace (hereinafter referred to as the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace). Received "Eruboshi Certification (Two-Star)" certification.

"Eruboshi Certification" is a certification system based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, which came into force on April 1, 2016. Among the companies that formulate and submit an action plan for promoting women's empowerment, companies with excellent implementation status are certified by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare.

■ What is “Eruboshi” certification?

Based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace (Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace), this is a system that certifies companies that meet certain standards and excel in terms of promoting women's participation in the workplace.

Accreditation is evaluated based on five items: "Recruitment", "Continued employment", "Work style such as working hours", "Ratio of managerial positions", and "Diverse career courses". Of the above five evaluation items, it is divided into three levels from one star to three stars according to the number of items that are satisfied.

 

・Meet all 5 criteria: 3 stars (3 levels)

・Meet 3 to 4 criteria: 2 stars (2 levels)

・Meet 1 to 2 criteria: 1 star (1 level)
