Tetsuo Nishizaki, a powerlifter belonging to NOMURA Co., Ltd. (men's 49kg weight class, participated in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games) competed in the 49kg weight class at the "Manchester 2020 Road to Tokyo Para Powerlifting World Cup" held on February 20, 2020. I participated in This tournament is positioned as part of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic pathway stipulated by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), so it is an important tournament that will be reflected in the rankings for Tokyo 2020 participation. As a result, I recorded 133 kg and won 3rd place and a bronze medal.
