Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support "Collaboration between Tohoku and Tokyo! Box of Light"

Since 2013, NOMURA, Ltd. has been implementing the "Tohoku and Tokyo Collaboration Hikari no Box" project.

This year as well, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, we held a workshop for the people of Ishinomaki and NOMURA Group employees, who have deepened their ties through the NOMURA Group's support activity, "Let's Connect Together! Project."

Approximately 500 colorful and unique “light boxes” will be displays in Ishinomaki and Odaiba.

We hope that the "box of light" will color Odaiba, connect Tohoku and Tokyo, and become a "light of hope."

*The “Box of Light” is a kit devised by Mr. Taizo Matsumura, a sculptor from Aomori Prefecture.
