Our spatial designer, Echiyo Suzuki, and concept design Onishi, concept design director of the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO," which received a special award for its cultural facility, will be speaking at the "Wood concept design Award 2019" Special Seminar (organized by the Wood Design Award Management Office). The seminar will be moderated by Asako Nagano, Director of the Wood Utilization Division, Forestry Agency. We look forward to your participation.

"Wood concept design Award 2019" Special Seminar
~A new era of "wood concept design" that leads to the creation of new value~
The Wood concept design Award recognizes outstanding products and services that enrich lives and society by utilizing wood sourced from Japan's forests, one of the world's leading forest nations. In its fifth year, this year's awards saw 197 entries selected from 413 submissions, with one Grand Prize winner (Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and concept design Award), nine Excellence Award winners (Director-General of the Forestry Agency Award), fifteen Encouragement Award winners (Chairman of the Jury), and four Special Award winners (Wood Hospitality Award). A special seminar will also be held, featuring lectures and discussions by judges and winners of top awards, focusing on the theme of "wood concept design" for a new era that leads to the creation of new value.
