At the "Wood concept design Award 2019" special seminar (sponsored by the Wood concept design Award Management Secretariat), our space designer Echiyo Suzuki and cultural facility / special award winner Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO" concept design director Onishi Ryo will be on stage. Ms. Asako Nagano, Director of Wood Utilization Division, Forestry Agency, is the facilitator. We are looking forward to your participation.

"Wood concept design Award 2019" Special Seminar

~A new era of “wood concept design” that will lead to the creation of new value~

The "Wood concept design Award" recognizes excellent things and things that enrich people's lives and society by making use of trees born from the forests of Japan, one of the world's leading forest countries. This year, the 5th time, 197 of the 413 entries were awarded the "Wood concept design Award", with 1 Grand Prize (Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award) and 9 Excellence Awards (Forestry Agency Commissioner's Award). , 15 Encouragement Prizes (Judges Chairman's Prize) and 4 Special Prizes (Ki no Omotenashi Prize) were selected. A "Special Seminar" will also be held, where lectures and discussions will be held by judges and winners of top prizes, etc., on the theme of "wood concept design" for the new era, which will lead to new value creation.
