We are currently hosting a solo exhibition by artist Aju, recipient of the NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Award at "Art Stream 2017," at our Osaka office.

We are currently hosting a solo exhibition at our Osaka office featuring artist Aju, who received the NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Award at "Art Stream 2017" (organized by the Art Stream Executive Committee), an event in which NOMURA Co.,Ltd. collaborated as part of its social and cultural activities. This exhibition, Aju's first in a year, includes a 4-meter-long panoramic landscape painting that Aju spent two months creating from memory of the view from our Osaka office.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. supports artists who will shape the future, including Aju, as well as social and cultural activities.

●Artist profile

Aju

Born in Osaka. Diagnosed with a developmental disability, she continues to express herself through painting as her own words. Characteristically, he draws without drafts, and recently he is also working on drawing the scenery he sees from memory.

 

●What is Art Stream?

This exhibition and art market (displays and sale of original works by the artists themselves) has been held since 2003 with the aim of discovering, showcasing, and providing opportunities for growth for artists and creators active throughout the Kansai region, and is considered a stepping stone for emerging artists.
