<Comment from Nishizaki>
Thank you for your support. In order to increase my chances of participating in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, I changed the class this time and participated in the 49kg class for the first time.
Although I fell just short of my goal of successfully completing all three lifts, the three judges raised their white flags on my first attempt at 126 kg and my second attempt at 130 kg, which allowed me to feel the improvement in the precision of my lifts after changing weight classes. Next, I will challenge the Japanese record in the 49 kg class at a domestic competition in February of next year, and at the world competition, I will work to improve my ranking towards the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, so that I can share Delight and Passion with everyone who supports me.
Test events for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will begin in earnest in July.
Currently, in various competitions, we are verifying the equipment and venues used in the actual event, the smooth operation of the competition, the operation of the volunteer staff, etc., and we are making full-fledged preparations for the success of the competition.
NOMURA Co.,Ltd. supports the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games as a READY STEADY TOKYO Associating Partner.
