Tetsuo Nishizaki, a powerlifter belonging to NOMURA Co., Ltd. (men's 54kg weight class, participated in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games) held the 2nd Para Powerlifting Challenge Cup Kyoto Tournament on Saturday, April 13, 2019. I participated in the men's 54kg class match.
As a result, he recorded a personal best and a Japanese record of 140 kg in the third trial, and won the championship.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us.

*The competition record is the maximum weight up to the third attempt. The special trial is to challenge the Japanese record, so the winning record is 140kg and the Japanese record is 142kg.

<Comment from Nishizaki>
Thank you for your support.
Thanks to everyone's support, I was able to overcome the 140kg barrier. I would like to change my mindset and work hard in training so that I can demonstrate the results of my practice at the World Championships in July 2019, which I plan to participate in.
Until the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, I will continue to cherish each attempt and match, and strive to succeed in every attempt.
