NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. Group has been running the "Fair Wood Project" since 2008, which utilizes domestically produced timber and certified forest timber in its business activities. (The current parent organization is the CSV Council.)

In 2018, the 10th anniversary of our activities, we believe that it is necessary to continue activities that involve not only our company but also the entire industry in order to further accelerate the spread of the use of timber whose origin is known in the display industry based on the social background. , We are doing "Efforts to connect forests and creators".

Goro Kato

Manager, Department 2, Operations Control Division, Business Management Headquarters, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd.

Born in Aichi Prefecture, graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School. Joined NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd. in 2004. In 2008, he was in charge of establishing the "Environmental Solutions Committee," and has since served as the secretary-general of the company's CSV activity organization. Since 2017, he has also served as the project leader for the Fairwood Project and the JAPAN VALUE Project.
