Powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki (affiliated with NOMURA Co.,Ltd.) won the 19th All Japan Para Powerlifting International Invitational Championships and set a new Japanese record.
Tetsuo Nishizaki, a powerlifter affiliated with NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. (Men's 54kg class, participant in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games), competed in the 54kg class at the "19th All Japan Para Powerlifting International Invitational Championships" held on February 2, 2019.
The result was a record of 137kg, setting a new personal best and a new Japanese record, and winning the championship. This is my sixth victory at the All Japan Championships since competing in 2013.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me.
