Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support "Collaboration between Tohoku and Tokyo! Box of Light"

This event is hosted by our company, an official supporter of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games (concept design, planning, and construction of interior and displays spaces), and is certified as a Tokyo 2020 Official Program (Reconstruction) under the Tokyo 2020 Participation Program.
Since 2013, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. has been carrying out the "Tohoku and Tokyo Collaboration: Box of Light" project.
This year, as with previous years, we have held workshops for the people of Ishinomaki, companies in the Odaiba area, and employees of the NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. Group, with whom we have deepened our ties through the "Let's Connect Together! Project," a support activity of NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. Group since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Approximately 500 unique and colorful "boxes of light," each one unlike anything else, will be gathered displays in Ishinomaki and Odaiba.
We hope that the "box of light" will color Odaiba, connect Tohoku and Tokyo, and become a "light of hope."
*The “Box of Light” is a kit devised by Mr. Taizo Matsumura, a sculptor from Aomori Prefecture.
