The 47th Friendship Baseball Tournament was held on May 26th, June 2nd, and June 8th, sponsored by the Tokyo Display Cooperative Association. The NOMURA Baseball Club won the championship for the first time in 16 years.

With this victory, he extended his winning streak to 9 times.
