March 7, 2016 Nagasaki prefecture antenna shop "Nihonbashi Nagasakikan" opened

The Nagasaki prefecture antenna shop "Nihonbashi Nagasakikan" operated by Nomura Development Co., Ltd. (hereafter Nomura Development), a NOMURA Group company, opened on March 7, 2016.

"Nihonbashi Nagasakikan", which will be the first antenna shop for Nagasaki prefecture, is based on the basic concept of "revitalizing the region by activating the exchange of people, goods and information between the metropolitan area and local people". It has become a new base for disseminating the charm of Nagasaki, not just the products and sightseeing spots of Nagasaki.

In addition to the operation by Nomura Development, our group was also involved in the design and construction, the opening ceremony, and the production of the website.

 

■Floor Overview

The store consists of four zones: tourist information, product sales, events, and light meals.

(1) Tourist information zone

“Travel guides” promote tourism and provide travel consultations.

(2) Product sales zone

From standard products such as Nagasaki castella and champon, to excellent products and hidden gems from Nagasaki Prefecture that are not well known yet, we have about 1,000 products that can only be purchased at Nihonbashi Nagasakikan in the metropolitan area. A living guide will carefully introduce you to the particulars of the products, including the historical background of Nagasaki.

(3) Event zone

We will introduce the charm of Nagasaki Prefecture through tourism PR and demonstration sales by municipalities, production groups, and companies in Nagasaki Prefecture.

(4) Snack zone

Using tableware "Hasami ware" and "Mikawachi ware", which are designated as national traditional crafts, we offer Nagasaki's specialty sweets, tea, Iki shochu, etc. To do.
