Regarding the order for preservation work of "Miracle Pine Tree"

NOMURA, Ltd. has recently received an order from Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, to preserve the "Miracle Pine Tree".

This task is to preservative the only surviving "Miracle Pine Tree" in the national scenic spot "Takada Matsubara" which was destroyed by the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It was planned with the aim of preserving it as a monument that tells the story of the earthquake disaster, and we will be in charge of the design and construction of this project.
It will be moved out on September 12th and 13th, and after that it will be preservative treated and will be returned to its current location by the end of February next year.
