The Great East Japan Earthquake recovery support charity "LIGHTING OBJET Box of Light" will be displays in Iwaki and Ishinomaki.

NOMURA will displays "Collaboration between Tohoku and Tokyo! LIGHTING OBJET Box of Light" in Iwaki from March 7th (Friday) and Ishinomaki from March 10th (Monday).

 

The "LIGHTING OBJET Box of Light" was lit up on December 4th last year, the 1,000th day after the earthquake, and was on displays at the head office plaza for about two months. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, people in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture and Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, who have deepened ties through the Nomura Group's support activity "Let's Connect Together!" Ladies and gentlemen, we held a workshop with the members of the NOMURA Group. More than 400 colorful and unique "boxes of light" were collected one by one, placed in our container-standard construction method "Machihako", and displays. Many people saw it during Christmas and winter vacation.

 

In order for the people of Iwaki and Ishinomaki, where the workshop will be held, to see it, we will displays it on the following schedule. We hope that the "box of light" will color the streets of Tohoku, connect Tohoku and Tokyo, and become a "light of hope."
