Renewal of Rakuten Kobo Stadium Miyagi;

Machihako, a container-standard-size construction method provided by NOMURA, Ltd., has been adopted for the large-scale goods shop that will open next season at Rakuten Kobo Stadium Miyagi, home of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles.

 

“Machihako” is a service that allows building to be set up in a short period of time. In this project, a large goods shop with an area of about 660 square meters will be newly built using 43 container-type building modules of the 20ft type (about 6m in length). The adoption of Machihako has made it possible to prepare for opening during the baseball off-season. Completion is scheduled for late March 2015.

 

This shop, which has more than three times the total area of the previous 1st and 3rd base side goods shops, displays a wide variety of goods, making shopping even more enjoyable. In the store, photo panels and commemorative items that follow the footsteps of the 10th anniversary of the team's founding are displays. You can experience the history of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, the first newcomer in 50 years to run up to the number one in Japan.
