H2L and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. have begun developing a metaverse office to address the challenges of dual work.

H2LCo., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to asH2L) and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd.)​ ​have begun development of a metaverse office that supports dual work, where users work both remotely and in the office, by reflecting the worker's mental state ("tension"), physical state ("remaining energy"), and skill level ("force level") in an avatar using BodySharing (R) technology*.

 

H2L has developed BodySharing(R) technology, and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. 's innovation laboratory "NOMLAB" will plan, develop, and propose a dual workspace environment for both metaverse and physical offices. Through both technology and concept design, the aim is to promote appropriate communication between remote and office workers, improve productivity, reduce worker stress, and enhance job satisfaction.
We plan to gradually release technical details and sales information starting in the summer of 2022.

 

 

*BodySharing(R) technology: A technology that shares various bodily sensations and experiences with characters, robots, and human bodies. The bodily sensations mentioned here include not only sight and hearing, but also proprioception such as position, weight, and resistance.
