Active lab where researchers and visitors create the "future" NOMURA provides comprehensive support and technical cooperation in creating a system for disseminating results and for visitors to participate in the event

The second displays period of the Visionary Lab at the Miraikan, National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, "Making the Intellectual Brain ○○ - Researchers Looking at and Creating the Brain," is a space to share the research results of the International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN), an International Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Tokyo, with the world.
The exhibition was planned and produced in collaboration between IRCN, Miraikan, and NOMURA, and aims to be "more than just displays; it is an active lab where researchers and visitors can create the future together."
This displays combines research on the human brain (neurointelligence) and AI to show the ongoing efforts of researchers who are approaching the ultimate question, "What is intelligence?" This is a new attempt to turn basic research, which is rarely encountered in everyday life, into displays. Visitors will also participate in collecting data on "brain intelligence" research, and will be able to give their opinions on the results of the data, with the aim of forming a community that will work together to create the concept of the "brain intelligence."
For this displays, NOMURA is providing comprehensive support and technical cooperation (utilizing the Nomura Method for outreach), from holding workshops for researchers to organizing the overall vision, planning, concept design, and construction of displays.
