NOMURA, Ltd. and the National Wood Industry Association hold online seminar to discuss spatial concept design that nurtures forests and a sustainable future

NOMURA Co., Ltd. and the Japan Wood Association will host "Connecting to the Future with Creativity that Utilizes Wood" on YouTube Live (free streaming) from 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. This seminar will look again at the sustainable use and value of domestic timber, and consider together with creators and forestry and timber industry business operators in timber-producing areas the possibilities of concept design utilizes both forests and people, including independent economic activity in the forestry and timber industries and conservation of forest environments.


NOMURA Group launched the "Fair Wood Project" in 2010, which uses domestic and certified timber in its business activities, and has been working to create spaces that contribute to a sustainable society across the industry. This seminar is being held as part of the "Morimachi Door" project, which is being undertaken in collaboration with the National Federation of Wood Associations.
