What is"GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA"?

"GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" is a facility in Yokohama where you can experience the dream of moving a life-sized 18m Gundam. It consists of two areas: "GUNDAM-DOCK", a deck where the "moving Gundam" is stored and maintenance work is carried out, and "GUNDAM-LAB", which contains an displays facility where you can learn about the mechanism of the "moving Gundam" while enjoying it. "GUNDAM-DOCK" also has a special observation deck "GUNDAM-DOCK TOWER" where you can see the head and body of the "moving Gundam" up close from a height of 15-18m. Experience the fusion of Gundam, an IP that attracts a lot of attention from overseas, and Japanese manufacturing and excellent technology in a live performance.

NOMURA, Ltd. is participating in the project "Gundam Global Challenge (GGC)" to move a life-sized Gundam, with our company's Masaki Kawahara serving as GGC Creative Director. In addition, as a technical partner, we are providing comprehensive technical cooperation by taking charge of the design, construction and presentation planning of the "moving Gundam" itself, as well as the planning, design, layout and construction of the ACADEMY area, an displays facility in the "GUNDAM-LAB" complex where visitors can learn about the mechanism of the "moving Gundam" while having fun.
