Tetsuo Nishizaki, a powerlifter affiliated with NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. (Men's 54kg class, participant in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games), competed in the Men's 54kg class at the "2019 Nur-Sultan World Championships" held on July 14, 2019 (Japan time).
The result was a record of 137kg, placing me 8th (1st among Japanese competitors).
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me.

Although I didn't quite break my personal best, I was able to achieve my highest record of 137kg in an international competition held overseas. With this 8th place finish in the world competition serving as a pathway to the Tokyo 2020 Games, I will use it as a stepping stone to training with all my might for the September competition.
