9th Kids Design Award "Excellence Award-concept design of State for Gender Equality Award"

As a leading space company, NOMURA has established "Team M" in its Sales Development Headquarters this year and is working together with customers to solve problems related to spaces for spending time with children.

Team M is a project launched to create a “safe, secure and comfortable environment” for a better future for all children and people involved in children.

We use the insights gained from our work and childcare experiences to concept design spaces and activities for spending time with children that will foster rich experiences and dialogue.

【Reason for award】

It is a highly socially useful initiative in which female employees who are raising children form cross-departmental teams to propose spaces and ideal childcare facilities where it is easy to go out with children.

In addition, by making use of his childcare experience in his main business, he has succeeded in meeting the detailed needs of the childcare environment in society.

The company maintains a high return rate after childcare leave. It was highly evaluated as suitable for the theme of promoting the active participation of women.
