Taikisha Co., Ltd. Business Development Division Office

Taikisha is a global environmental engineering company that contributes to society with advanced technologies related to energy, air, and water. Following our work on "TAIKISHA INNOVATION GATE Shinjuku" in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and "TAIKISHA INNOVATION SITE AIkawa" in Aikawa, Kanagawa, we were in charge of the basic concept for the reception and visitor area when the Business Development Division relocated to the Tama Center office, creating a space that inherited the design philosophy common to "GATE" and "SITE".

The Tama Center office serves as an intermediate hub connecting Shinjuku and Aikawa, and therefore, it was required to create a space that conveys Taikisha's corporate values and message to visitors while inheriting the brand image and design philosophy cultivated at existing innovation hubs.
Furthermore, as the base for the Business Development Division, it was expected that the space would allow visitors to experience Taikisha's business areas and contributions to society, as well as the corporate brand.

In this project, the basic concept was formulated based on the theme of "Earth." Using four design tones—Air, Water, Green, and Energy—as the core, we expressed Taikisha's business domain and corporate values through a space that evokes beautiful scenes of the Earth.

We aimed to create a space that conveys Taikisha's business domain and contributions to society to visitors by forming a unified worldview through materials, light, and color, while also creating a sense of depth and spaciousness through the use of translucent fabrics and indirect lighting.

Furthermore, while inheriting the design codes and philosophy used in "GATE" in Shinjuku and "SITE" in Aikawa, we developed a soft expression incorporating organic curves and fabrics, based on the theme of Earth. By developing the design according to the role and environment of each location, we created a reception and visitor area that feels connected to "GATE" in Shinjuku and "SITE" in Aikawa.
