Shirokane The Sky

"Shirokane The Sky" is a large-scale mixed-use urban development that harmonizes with the charming residential area of Shirokane, a town that transmits its own unique culture, while also accommodating an active urban lifestyle. With a site area exceeding 11,000 m², a height exceeding 150 m, and a total of 1,247 units including the 45-story East Tower, it has been built as a landmark of the town on a grand scale. The aim is to create a town that shines in the lives of diverse people, a place where families can find peace of mind, a place to enjoy the latest trends, and a place that supports their working styles.
concept design of the common areas and interiors is based on the concept of "something that transcends generations and can be proud of worldwide," aiming for a timeless residence that can be passed down to future generations through a modern concept design that resonates globally. The magnificent entrance is the symbol of this, where water and light are used to create an extraordinary space. The two towers are themed around "glamour" and "elegance," and feature lounges, guest rooms, and other spaces in a variety of styles.
Our company was responsible for overseeing the overall interior design of the common areas, as well as construction key concept design elements such as the symbolic fins and fabric walls.

The second-floor entrance lobby connecting the east and west wings is over 100 meters long, and the first-floor entrance hall of the east wing is a vast space with a ceiling height approaching 10 meters. The client wanted to create an attractive space that would serve as a community hub for all 1,200+ residents without becoming monotonous, and also wanted concept design that would appeal to both domestic and international target audiences in order to embody the property's concept design concept.

To ensure that the 100-meter-long entrance lobby becomes more than just a transit point but a community space for residents, a concierge, fireplace, and art displays are placed in the central zone, creating a concept design area centered around wood. The east and west sides of this central area are open lobby areas that allow natural light to flood in. Furthermore, a seating space is planned on a water feature in the eastern lobby, and the art in the columns and the metal design screens create rhythm in the space. In addition, the dynamic hanging wall using lattice work and the suspended plant displays create a sense of unity and segmentation in the space, resulting in a varied and non-monotonous lobby concept design.
In addition, the floor adjacent to the lobby incorporates private workspaces, studios, a kids' room, a gym, and a golf range, enhancing convenience for residents and fostering a sense of community.
The first-floor lobby features a dynamic, gigantic fin with a weathered brass finish that exudes power and a majestic presence. In response, floating artwork inspired by the wind blowing through the ginkgo tree-lined streets of Shirokane creates a space that impressively welcomes visitors.
