overview

Shirokane the Sky" is a large-scale urban development complex that responds to active urban living while blending in with the streetscape of Shirokane, which is a residential area with a rich emotional atmosphere and a unique culture, and has a site area of over 11,000 m², a height of over 150 m, and a total of 1,247 units, including the 45-story east tower. It is a landmark of the city on a large scale, with a total of 1,247 units, including the 45-story east tower. It aims to be a place where families can feel at home, where people can become familiar with the latest trends, and where people can support their work styles, creating a town that brightens the lives of a diverse range of people.
The concept of concept design of the common area and interiors is to "transcend generations and be proud to be part of the world," and the world-class modern concept design aims to create a residence with universality that will be lived in by the next generation, and its symbol is the grand entrance. The two towers will have lounges and guest rooms with a variety of tastes under the themes of "splendor" and "dignity.
We supervised the overall interior design of the common areas and were in charge of construction creating symbolic fins, fabric walls, and other concept design points of interest.

Issues/requests

The entrance lobby on the 2nd floor, which connects the East Building to the West Building, is over concept design in length, and the entrance hall on the 1st floor of the East Building has a concept design height of nearly 10m.

solution

In order to make the 100m-long entrance lobby not just a passing point but a place for residents' community, we have placed a concierge, fireplace, art display, etc. in the central zone, and made it a solid area centered on wood in terms of concept design. Centered on this area, the east and west sides are an open lobby area where natural light shines in. In addition, we planned a seating space on the water basin in the east lobby, creating rhythm in the space with art on the pillars and screens with metal designs. In addition, the dynamic hanging wall using lattices and the hanging plant display create a sense of unity and segmentation of the space, creating a variety of space concept design that does not become monotonous in the lobby.
In addition, content such as private work spaces, studios, kids' rooms, gyms, golf ranges, etc. are included adjacent to the lobby, making it a convenient and community floor for residents.
In the lobby on the first floor, the dynamic giant fins finished in the image of weathered brass give off a powerful and majestic presence, and in response, the floating artwork that imagines the wind flowing through the rows of platinum ginkgo trees creates an impressive space that welcomes visitors.
