Panasonic Center Osaka "Re Life Story A house where you can play innocently and connect with nature"

[Project Description]

"A house connected to nature where you can play innocently and immerse yourself in nothingness" is a second home proposal for the ReLife generation (male in his 50s, occupation: pastry chef).
The idea of "I want to keep growing with excitement. I want an environment where I can deepen my creativity no matter how old I get" is expressed through the image of "a secret base where you can return to your childhood."
The design includes a living space where you can sit or lie down and play "innocently" with family and friends, as well as a circular window room where you can become one with nature and "mindlessly" immerse yourself in your own world.
The space is designed to enhance creativity through the use of plentiful earthen walls, which have excellent texture and functionality, and effective lighting. The two elements of "nothingness" - "innocence" and "nothingness" - create a space that fosters creativity. We assisted with the planning, concept design, and construction.

[Customer issues/requests]

With the theme of "a secret base where you can return to being a boy," the challenge is how to express a space where everyone can gather and play, and a space where you can immerse yourself in your own world, in one living space.

【solution】

The single large space is made of abundant earthen walls, which have excellent texture and functionality, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
Within this, the space where everyone can gather and play "innocently" is created by creating a stepped stage using interior counters from Panasonic products, and a large table is placed in the center to create a space where everyone can gather.
The other space, "mindless," features a circular window that acts as a concept design accent within the living space, creating a space where one can feel immersed in nature.
