overview
This is the booth of Lilicala at "Orgatec Tokyo 2026," an international trade show specializing in office and facility design. Our company was in charge of concept development and spatial design.
The space was designed to allow visitors to discover their own hidden challenges and needs, and to encounter a variety of products and the underlying solutions to those challenges by "flipping over" the product panels displayed on the pedestals.
Issues/requests
For their first ever exhibition at Orgatec, they requested comprehensive support, from concept design to define the direction of their exhibition, to the creation of the exhibition space.
solution
In developing the concept, we first conducted a workshop to explore how to best convey the unique appeal of Lilycolor to visitors through their experience.
Within that context, we identified Lilicala's strength as their ability to empathize with users' concerns and challenges and propose diverse solutions. We formulated the concept of this exhibition as allowing visitors to experience this value firsthand.
The space is designed around three themes that resonated with user feedback: "CMF Design," "Inspiration," and "Well-Being." The entire space is unified in white to naturally draw visitors' attention to the products themselves, and the display stands are angled to highlight the presence of the displayed wallpaper, flooring, and curtains.
In each zone, while introducing products, we highlighted user-centric challenges and needs displayed on the display stands using Lilicala's brand color, red, as a background, designing them to naturally catch the visitor's eye. The exhibition is structured so that visitors can explore the diverse range of products by "flipping" product panels, using the challenges and needs that catch their eye as a starting point, and discovering the problem-solving ideas behind their appeal. Through this experience, we designed a space where visitors can encounter Lilicala's unique value proposition.
Furthermore, beyond simply conveying information, we utilized the products themselves as design elements, such as suspending long curtains from the ceiling to create a spatial composition and using different flooring materials to create accents. We incorporated a playful design element so that visitors could feel new expressions and possibilities for using the products through the exhibition.
Customer's voice
Thanks to your support from the concept stage, we were able to re-articulate and visualize our company's strengths and values, which ultimately resulted in a booth that embodied them.
Furthermore, many departments participated in the workshop, which led to everyone taking ownership and contributing to the creation of the exhibition.
Furthermore, by carefully understanding our vision and intentions, while also flexibly accepting our sometimes bold ideas, the appeal of our booth has been further enhanced.
