OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi by Hoshino Resorts

OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi by Hoshino Resorts is a hotel set in the sky that inherits the history of Yokohama's Bashamichi area (opening January 15, 2026).

Within a short period of less than a year from planning to completion, our company was responsible for everything from planning and concept design to construction. With the concept of "CRUISE SHIP," we infused the entire space with the romance and playful spirit of sailing.

On the 46th floor, the public space takes advantage of the limitations imposed by the mix of existing tenants and open spaces to create a circular flow that envisions the entire floor as the "interior of a ship." By visiting lounges reminiscent of the bow of a ship, mirror decks that amplify the night view, galleries, and theaters, a "shipboard tour experience" that enhances the sense of exhilaration is realized.

In designing the guest rooms, we made the most of the existing kitchen, proposing a "cabin" where you can spend intimate time with your companions. We cherished the density that can only be achieved in a limited space, and created a functional and dense space.

The design, which reflects the colors and fonts associated with the Hikawa Maru, Yokohama's most iconic ship, acts as a switch that shifts your perspective from a voyage above the clouds to a deep stroll through the city.

We have received very high praise from our customers, such as the public space on the 46th floor, which "made me feel like I was traveling on a boat trip in the sky," and the guest room design, which was designed to "make me feel like I was living with my friends." All the staff are deeply grateful for the technical capabilities of your concept design construction, which has fused Yokohama's history and playfulness with such high precision in a short construction period.
