Nissan Motors' Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Power Generation System PR Facility
overview
This facility is a PR facility for fuel cell systems* developed by Nissan Motors that use solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) as power generation equipment. It was opened in conjunction with the start of trial operations at the company's Tochigi Plant.
* A stationary power generation system that uses bioethanol to generate electricity efficiently
The master concept design was provided by Nissan Motor's concept design department, with the basic and working drawings handled by the Nomura Arcs design team, and construction by our company. We adjusted the master concept design to a level that was feasible construction, and flexibly responded to design changes during construction due to changes in the SOFC itself, including surrounding equipment. We embodied the advanced nature of the master concept design.
Customer's voice
We were able to ensure consistency in image between the NIF (Nissan Intelligent Factory) concept and Nissan's various displays facilities. We were also able to realize concept design that is compatible with Nissan's new corporate colors (as requested by the Nissan concept design Department).
