This is the Panasonic booth at IFA 2022, the world's largest consumer electronics show, which was held in Berlin for the first time in three years due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When considering displays concept design in the post-COVID era, we embodied the changes in lifestyles and values brought about by the pandemic, as well as Panasonic's major policy of GREEN IMPACT, in our spatial concept design. We concept design the space primarily using light and fabric, while minimizing waste as much as possible construction. As a result, we achieved a 70% reduction in our carbon footprint compared to 2019, and the significant reduction in CO2 emissions from materials such as wood and steel, as well as logistics, is something we believe will make a significant impact on the future of events and displays in a post-COVID society.

We received a request to embody Panasonic's new slogan, GREEN IMPACT.
[Solution]
By rethinking the nature of spatial concept design and exploring displays for the future that are not overly extravagant, we created a booth that aligns with Panasonic's new slogan.
