overview

Fujifilm Business Innovation's "Green Park FLOOP" opened in 2024 as an experiential facility where adults can make new discoveries and children can learn and think freely, allowing them to experience various multifunction printer-related technologies, learn about environmental issues and Fujifilm Business Innovation's technologies in an easy-to-understand way, and explore a sustainable future for our planet. In its four experiential displays zones (Studio, Technology, Think, Action), visitors can learn interactively about future urban development, multifunction printer technology, and environmental issues. The adjoining Cafe & Co-work offers environmentally conscious menu items based on the concept of "circulation."
Throughout the facility, the company showcases its environmental initiatives and technological innovations, while providing visitors with an opportunity to think about and act on a sustainable future. The aim was to create a new, community-oriented learning space where people of all ages can learn in an enjoyable way.

Issues/requests

In order to make the office entrance space open to the local community, the challenge was how to scale down the existing large, inorganic space and regular colonnade while still incorporating the company's identity.

solution

To lay the foundation for the space, we added new columns to break the regularity of the colonnade and segment the space, aiming for a forest-like comfort. The column wraps represent a graph of paperlessness, and the spiral-shaped white walls create a sense of movement and flow throughout displays space. The spatial concept that creates the company's identity is "LOOP," which expresses the connection between the rotary function of the multifunction printer and its activities. We also incorporated the "LOOP" spatial concept into the experiential devices, integrating the message and the experience to create a memorable landscape for children.
