overview

We planned a Mie Prefecture booth to be exhibited within the Kansai Pavilion at the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo).
The Mie Prefecture booth, themed "The Origin of the Japanese Spirit," is designed as a space where visitors can experience the charms of "Beautiful Mie," including its rich nature, history, diverse culture, and food. Through unique displays and content that can only be found at the Expo, it is an interactive booth that allows visitors to experience Mie with all five senses.

Issues/requests

Among the nine prefectures exhibiting in the Kansai Pavilion, Mie Prefecture was asked to plan and produce attractive displays and content that would capture visitors' interest, as well as implement effective measures to promote visitor numbers, in order to draw people to the Mie Prefecture booth.

solution

As a solution to your request, we designed a space that would capture visitors' interest and encourage active participation, using "memorable experiences" as our key concept.
A fantastical tunnel made of mirrors was created to draw visitors in, and the entrance to the booth was designed to be a memorable experience.
The booth's interior features dynamic video projections of five unique areas within the prefecture onto five wall screens, combined with interactive displays that visitors can touch and experience, creating a captivating experience. The aim was to create a memorable experience that engages all five senses, not just the visuals.
At the end of displays, a navigation area is set up to guide visitors to a tourism PR website equipped with an AI concierge. The layout is designed to encourage visitors to take home tourism information tailored to their needs, ultimately leading them to actually visit the prefecture.
