Chinese Restaurant Ichirin Miyako

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant that opened in Yard Miyakojima, adjacent to "Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima" in Miyakojima, Okinawa. Based on the techniques of the Ichirin Group, it offers a new Chinese dining experience that blends the nature and ingredients of Miyakojima.
Our company was in charge of the design and planning.

The challenge was to create a space that combined the open atmosphere characteristic of a resort with the robust flavor of Chinese cuisine, while harmonizing with the nature and culture of Miyako Island. Furthermore, the goal was to create a unique identity that blended regional characteristics with the brand's identity.

We created movable partitions that fuse the philosophy of traditional crafts with Chinese aesthetics, and art using koba leaves that are connected to Okinawan life and beliefs. Through soft spaces and dynamic spatial composition, we realized a new dining experience that allows you to feel the nature of the island.
