overview

The food hall "FOOD STADIUM TOKYO" opened on the second floor of the yellow building in Tokyo Dome City, and is a food and beverage facility that combines entertainment and food hall. Located just a two-minute walk from JR Suidobashi Station, it was planned with the aim of attracting new customers to the area.
Our company was responsible for the planning and concept, leasing cooperation, concept design and environmental department design, construction and furniture and fixture manufacturing.

The food hall has dim lights and glowing neon lights, creating a space where adults can enjoy their drinks. In addition, the huge LED vision and many monitors, large and small, installed throughout the building will broadcast sports and entertainment content. Guests can freely choose from about 480 different seating options while enjoying the immersive and exciting atmosphere that only an entertainment city can offer, and a wide variety of gourmet food is offered from 11 stores.

Issues/requests

They requested the development of a distinctive dining space for adults at the entrance to the dome.

solution

We were involved from the planning stage, and one of the requests from customers was for a "food court where customers can enjoy watching a large-screen vision," which required a total floor area of 1,580 m2, 11 tenants, and 480 seats.
Therefore, the Merchandising & Leasing team, under these conditions, set the positioning of the entire store and each tenant, based on a bird's-eye view of the entire Tokyo Dome City and an understanding of the grade and role of the food and beverage offerings. Subsequently, design, layout, furniture and fixture manufacturing ・The Construction Management Team worked together to examine the spatial image unique to this location with a focus on the Dome's character. While collaboration with multiple parallel firms was necessary, we were able to help realize the customer's vision by assisting construction and property management operations as well.

Customer's voice

They had a deep understanding of our development concept and the scenes we wanted to realize, and proposed a feasible plan along with an attractive concept design. Even when we had to make adjustments to fit our budget, they were proactive and realistic in their proposals, and we felt they were a trustworthy partner.
