Mint Kobe

Mint Kobe

In 2006, 11 years after being completely destroyed by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, it was rebuilt as a complex commercial building "Mint Kobe" with various urban functions such as a bus terminal, cinema complex, cultural center, and offices. In 2018, in order to create the future of the city center of Kobe, we replaced most of the shops and worked on a complete renewal of the commercial environment. concept design concept is ≪M-INT MUSEUM≫, expressing the unique lifestyle of ``Kobe-ness'' cultivated in the city, landscape, and enterprising culture where each person enjoys their daily lives. Starting with the gorgeous concept design of the elevator hall, the double-faced atrium space is equipped with wrought iron, art objects, and carefully crafted furniture, and the “M” symbolizing Mint Kobe is integrated. We participated in the project from the business concept stage, and were in charge of planning, consulting, tenant leasing, concept design design, construction, furniture and fixture manufacturing, and overall work in the renewal project. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Yuki Hikita [Planning] Tatsuko Nishi, Mayo Tenma [Tenant leasing] Atsushi Nakata, Masakazu Kawai, Takaaki Hiraki [design, layout] Taketoshi Yoshitani, Mika Murakami, Akihiro Takemoto [working drawings] Katsumi Tanda, Teruhiko Ono, Hideyuki Sanada, Kazuhiko Ueda [Production and construction] Jun Kagami, Yuka Tabata, Kenji Iseki [furniture and fixture manufacturing] Tomomi Konan [Signature and graphic concept design] Nomura Duo Yoshie Egawa, Yukishi Tatai, Hitoshi Goda

Brillia Shinagawa Minamioi Communication Salon oooi

Brillia Shinagawa Minamioi Communication Salon oooi

A community place where you can say "Oh!" to connect with "people", "life" and "town". We propose opening the condominium sales center to the community so that local residents and new residents living in condominiums can get to know each other. For the local residents, it is possible to make them feel positive about the huge housing complex that will be built in the future. We aimed to create a place where it would be easy to do. [Customer issues/requests] Early integration of new residents into condominiums and the local community has become a major issue. From this social background, this project was started because the sales center was required to be a starting point for the local community that is suitable for such requests. [Solution] As a starting point for the local community, the sales center is designed to function as a "place" where "people who already live" and "people who will live in the future" can easily drop by and interact with each other. The plan was based on an old-fashioned Japanese house. The "doma" connects the exterior and interior spaces, the "living room" is a place where users can have a conversation, and the "engawa" is a space where people can casually talk to each other. Through these concept design, we were able to visualize the local community and provide lifestyle updates. [Customer's voice] I think that the project was possible because of your company's teamwork, with your cooperation in many aspects such as concept making, planning, introduction of operators, design and construction. I'm really thankful to you. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Shinpei Watanabe, Yuri Utsugi [Planning] Shoko Miyazaki, Taku Sugimoto [design, layout] Ryo Onishi, Hiroaki Koshizen, Kenta Omoto [Production and construction] Soji Wakasugi Photographed by Co., Ltd. MUFG Bank Osaka Building Gallery Lounge

MUFG Bank Osaka Building Gallery Lounge

Project description: A project to develop a bustling facility on the first floor of the Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ Osaka Building in conjunction with the reconstruction of the building. A café and gallery lounge were introduced for the purpose of "creating a lively atmosphere in the surrounding area and Midosuji neighborhood" and "creating a high quality place as a bank building. The gallery is a space where visitors can casually experience art and history while relaxing with paintings and historical materials (coins, money changers' tools, etc.) owned by the bank at displays. The gallery also includes a corner introducing famous and historic sites in the area, and is designed to encourage visitors to walk around the neighborhood. We were in charge of planning and consulting, design, layout and supervision, displays and production of objects, furniture, and fixtures, construction and also assisted with some of the post-opening operations. concept design The project was a test of NOMURA 's comprehensive capabilities, including planning and 's ability to realize the conflicting themes of "creating a lively atmosphere" and "creating a high quality place," as it was the bank's first attempt to create a lively facility. Solution: For the space concept design, we created a high-quality, simple concept design structure based on the concept of "Organic structure" + "Simple structure," while connecting multiple elements such as the café, gallery, community displays, currency displays, ATM and foreign currency exchange corner in the lounge to create an integrated structure. By creating a unified structure, we aimed to create a facility where people with various purposes can gather in the same space. Furthermore, by being involved in post-opening operations, we will continue to be involved in the "creation of liveliness," which has been the theme of the project since its initial development. <Development] Motoo Kawata [Project management and sales] Motoo Kawata, Tomoha Nakamura [Planning and consulting] Hiroshi Yoshimoto, Reiko Kuroda, Satoe Hasegawa, Nobuaki Yabe, Konomi Taki, Toko Takeuchi [design, layout] Masao Nemoto, Masahiro Hisakane [Production and construction] Hironari Ota, Takahiro Nakayama [Operation management] Motoo Kawata Photo: Kono Masato (Nacasa and Partners Inc.)

Noto Satoyama Satoumi Museum

Noto Satoyama Satoumi Museum

The Noto Satoyama Satoumi Museum is a facility where you can experience the rich nature, wisdom of life, and history and culture nurtured in Nanao City. The attractiveness of Satoyama and Satoumi, which cannot be grasped in a unified way, is not classified as nature, history, or folklore, but is multidimensionally grasped by integrating fields. At the museum, we have set up features that both adults and children can enjoy, such as a space experience surrounded by insects and shellfish specimens, displays that tells the mechanism of fixed net fishing, an experience of lifting Notokan yellowtail, and a drawer-type quiz. In the two-sided theater, the life and growth of a family in the village will be drawn into the world of satoyama and satoumi through images of Nanao's beautiful four seasons. At the end of displays room, we presented the charms and challenges of Satoyama and Satoumi, creating an opportunity to think about the reality and future of Satoyama and Satoumi. [Customer issues/requests] Building a museum that creates the future based on the value of 1300 years of life in Noto (nature, history, culture), field museums, tourism, collaboration with citizens, and local products I had a request to include it. [Solution] Satoyama-satoumi is a system in which people can coexist and sustain the nature they have nurtured. We proposed a "Satoyama Satoumi displays" as a comprehensive study by fusing the fields and communicating them in a multi-dimensional way. In addition, curators introduce sightseeing in Noto from a researcher's point of view, and incorporate videos in which citizens appear to foster civic pride. In addition, the traditional crafts and local products of Noto Nanao are sublimated and expressed as spatial concept design elements, rather than being displayed as products. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Akihide Inoue, Kyohei Kishida [Planning] Kyohei Kishida, Tadashi Yuasa [design, layout] Tadashi Yuasa, Reiko Kagawa [Signature and graphic concept design] Satoko Hasegawa, Tadashi Yuasa [Production and production] construction] Shin Kameoka, Sadato Inoue, Yoshisei Shimode

[Customer Issues/Requests] It has been almost 20 years since the Shiga Prefectural Lake Biwa Museum opened in 1996 (Heisei 8) with the theme of "Lakes and Humans." During this time, surveys and research and the collection of valuable materials have progressed through interaction and cooperation between museum staff and various people outside the museum. Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi

Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi

With the concept of [Road to Wazuka], a place that makes you want to go to Wazuka-cho, a famous tea-producing area, one hour away from Kyoto city, a 70-year-old Kyoto townhouse located within a 10-minute drive from Kyoto Station. It was regenerated into a rental accommodation facility. Our company participated in the revitalization of the townhouse from the planning stage and was in charge of producing the space. We are taking on the challenge of a new spatial attempt to "transfer customers from the city center to the countryside", and each method for that purpose has resulted in a differentiating factor from other Kyomachiya lodging facilities. The opening projects of this time are “NAZUNA”, which handles the operation of inns using machiya, “Kiraku Japan”, which supports the restoration of old folk houses in terms of finance, “Crowd Realty”, which conducts crowdfunding of real estate, and handles planning and design. We worked together as a team. In addition, the opening funds were collected by crowdfunding. Participating companies and individual investors who sympathize with the concept [Road to Wazuka] and want to contribute to the town and spread Japanese culture to the world are working together to solve regional issues. <Our project members> [Space producer] Yasutoshi Yamano [Design (interior)] Takaaki Tani [Furniture and accessories coordination] Saki Ninomiya [Development] Nobuyuki Yagi [Sales] Yuji Takataka [Customer issues/requests] (1) We would like to renovate a Kyomachiya into a lodging facility targeting foreign tourists. (2) We want to make the concept with a story different from the many Kyomachiya in the city. (3) The owner of a cafe that serves Wazuka tea on the same premises wants to spread the appeal of Wazuka Town. [Solution] We have prepared a device in the facility that will make you want to go to Wazuka-cho. The rocks and rocks and rocks and dry landscape gardens inspired by the scenery of Wazuka allow you to feel as if you are sleeping on the land of Wazuka. The tea stand on the 2nd floor is made by remaking the tea box used in Wazuka-cho, and you can touch the real thing. Also, the wall graphic on the 2nd floor is based on the pattern that was affixed to the wooden box when exporting tea from Wazuka-cho to overseas at that time, and the fabric used is Kyoto's Nishijin textile. The lighting in the atrium space is also produced using light-shielding sheets used in the process of producing kabuse tea in Wazuka Town. The space is configured as an “accommodation antenna shop that fosters motivation to visit attractive places that have not yet been seen.” In addition, we have prepared an instruction manual with illustrations to convey to guests the gimmicks in the space, and we have even worked on software to help them experience it. [Customer's voice] I feel that the concept and high quality of design proposed by Nomura Co., Ltd. have aroused the sympathy of the investors in this project, and have led to the realization of an unprecedented accommodation facility.

Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO"

Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO"

Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO", which we comprehensively produced from concept creation to opening, is a facility that inherits tradition and creates new culture based on the concept of "tradition x innovation". With four floors above ground and one floor below ground, it is a complex facility that has never existed before, including the functions of the shrine's divine bill-giving office. With a multi-purpose hall as the main axis, we hold business presentations and displays on weekdays, and operate 365 days a year as a live house on weekends. In addition, the Japanese cultural experience centered around the preservation of traditional performing arts and traditional crafts is targeted at inbound tourists. It is a facility that incorporates a mechanism to improve the satisfaction of worshipers, such as the introduction of product sales and cafe services that are pleasing to worshipers, while promoting regional cooperation. 【Issue/Theme】 In the future 20 years from now, there are two issues: 40% of temples and shrines are in danger of disappearing due to the declining birthrate and aging population, and the number of Shinto wedding ceremonies is decreasing. This project was started in response to requests for an increase in [Solution] From a plan to inject marketing ideas into the shrine and attract people who have never visited the shrine (young people and inbound people), we added two functions: a multi-purpose hall and a Japanese culture experience studio. This facility was born. The three targets of business, young people, and inbound visitors are visiting, and it is bustling every day. <Our project members> [Producer] Kenichi Sakazume [Sales] Seiji Yamaguchi, Tsuyoshi Inami, Motoo Kawata [Planning] Keita Kobayashi, Toshiko Watanabe [concept design] Ryo Onishi, Eri Okuyama, Nanako Kazujun, Ayumu Sasai [Production] Shige Takahara Yoshi, Atsushi Endo, Hiroki Kimura -Related Links- [News Release] ・Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center “EDOCCO” is produced by Kenichi Sakazume, chief planner of NOMURA, Ltd.
