Tokyo Midtown Hibiya

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya

[Outline of the project] Since the Meiji era, Hibiya has evolved into a space and time for socializing and relaxation for adults, lined with the Rokumeikan, a social gathering place, and the Imperial Hotel, which was born as a Japanese guest house. Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., the business owner, promotes the gathering and exchange of various cultures, sensibilities, and talents from all over the world in Hibiya, with "In the Park," "Entertainment," and "Elegance" as values unique to the city of Hibiya. We are developing a town that creates new future-oriented experiences and values. We are in charge of the commercial environmental design, production and construction of the commercial floors from the first basement floor to the third floor above ground. With the business owner's thoughts and concept design concept of "theater space city", we have created a bright and gorgeous space full of adult charm that is suitable for Hibiya, a sacred place for arts, culture and entertainment. The three-story atrium, which is modeled after a traditional theater space, spreads out an elegant space with gentle curves. In the basement arcade, the memory of the city has been inherited by reconstructing it with a modern concept design based on the motif of the Sanshin Building, which was once a symbol of Hibiya in this area. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Yo Nishimoto, Kazuya Senda, Shinpei Watanabe [design, layout] Yukio Suzaka, Yusuke Matsumoto, Chikako Hatanaka [Production and construction] Keisuke Toda, Shinjiro Iwata, Kataka Odajima

hotel koe tokyo

hotel koe tokyo

[Outline of the project] hotel koe tokyo is a place that embodies the brand concept of the lifestyle brand "koe", which is "new basic for new culture". Designed with a global perspective in mind, this hotel-type store creates a fusion of the ordinary and the extraordinary and a new culture centered on stays, fashion, music and food. From the standpoint of a construction company, we helped Stripe International and Suppose Design Office, a design company, give form to their thoughts and ideas. [Customer's challenge] The challenge was to understand the worldview that Stripe International and the design company Suppose Design Office have in mind, and to embody it, including how to create it. While being conscious of the investment in the project, we made optimal proposals on how to make and the construction method from the viewpoint of construction. [Solution] To address the above issues, we proposed a wide variety of materials, created samples, shared images, and had repeated meetings with Suppose Design Office about construction methods. In addition, we made proposals that were conscious of project investment, responded to changes in specifications as needed and promptly, and played a role as a construction company until the opening of business by being conscious of the schedule. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Hiroshi Tsubosaka, Kayu Tatsumi [Production and construction] Hiroki Yoshitake, Yoshito Hamabe, Ikuya Sasaki, Yuya Tsuboi Photo: Kenta Hasegawa
