Growth X Partners Group Lab “Sky AGORA”

Growth X Partners Group Lab “Sky AGORA”

This is a new office relocation project for Growth X Partners Co., Ltd., which provides DX support for companies. We moved our head office to the 48th floor of the Shinjuku Nomura Building, aiming to create a place where employees can be happy and improve their performance. It is designed with the basic concept of a communication space that promotes. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] Our lives have changed dramatically due to COVID-19. I'm starting to be asked. While I was able to work remotely without any problems, the president wanted to have everyone come to the company. The new office was required to make coming to the company fun and increase motivation and engagement. [Solution] We explored and designed an office that is not just a place to work, but an office with communication as the 'core' that naturally makes people want to gather. A lounge space where you can work as if you were playing, a space where you can freely customize the furniture layout according to your purpose, and so on. In order to foster the pride of employees and increase their motivation, we boldly placed the artwork of Leslie David, a cutting-edge art director active in Paris, throughout the space, making it a pleasure to come to the company. It's a trigger. We proposed the original name "Sky AGORA" by combining AGORA, which means "open space" as a symbol of a gathering place, and the location characteristics of the 48th floor. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Hiroki Nekota [Planning] Kenta Masubuchi [design, layout] Manabu Yamanobe, Yuya Sato, Shunsuke Ami [Production and construction] Kazuiso Yoshimura

Sharp Yao Office "Yao Daiichi Shokudo Isshoku"

Sharp Yao Office "Yao Daiichi Shokudo Isshoku"

We were in charge of the planning, design, layout, and construction of the employee cafeteria “Yao Daiichi Shokudo Isshoku,” which opened on November 1, 2021 at Sharp Corporation (hereafter: Sharp) Yao Office. When proposing a plan, we were conscious of "proposals that can only be made by Nomura," rather than simply a stylish space. We proposed a cafeteria as a place for outer branding that can be experienced by people from affiliated companies. We have created three zones for lunch, work, and salon, and have devised ways to not only serve as a company cafeteria, but also to use it as a place to relax, hold meetings with guests inside and outside the company, and create connections and communication among people. The straight red line (sharp red) running through the cafeteria expresses Sharp's history and future. For this project, the Yao Factory, which has a long history as a production base for white goods for about 65 years, has come up with concept design that preserves its characteristics while ensuring hygiene. In addition, by utilizing the mezzanine floor that was used for the manufacturing line of production products as an displays space for successive products that symbolize SHARP, we also made efforts from the perspective of SDGs to reduce waste and removal costs. rice field. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] We received a request to create a space where communication between business divisions is weak, so that connections within the company can be more activated. [Solution] We made proposals that could be used not only as a place to eat, but also as a place to work and a place to relax.・We proposed a past product displays as a place where you can discover. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Yui Takahashi [design, layout] Shota Umetani, Ryoha Yamato, Yusuke Nakamura, Ayaka Miura [Production management] Yoshitsugu Mukoyama -Related links- [Notice] ・ Social good of NOMURA Activities: Case of Yao Daiichi Shokudo Isshoku, Sharp Yao Office

Carerits and Partners Co., Ltd. Office

Carelits and Partners Co., Ltd. is a company that is rapidly growing in the nursing care business, focusing on home-visit nursing care using IT technology. concept design the entrance and conference room that will be the face of the headquarters office expansion and relocation project from the 8th floor to the 15th floor of Shinjuku Miraina Tower. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] Since there are many job interviews, they requested a space where applicants can relax during interviews and an entrance where they can feel the growth of the company. [Solution] Since our corporate color is green, we placed fresh plants in the lattice, and the plants grew and protruded from the frame to express "growth without being constrained by the frame." In addition, by partitioning the meeting room with glass partitions, we created an expanse and created an open space that makes the most of the borrowed scenery. The green color has a relaxing visual effect, so the floors of the meeting rooms are covered with wood and green carpets. Furthermore, in response to the increasing number of online meetings, we have prepared telecom booths for 1-2 people and meeting rooms that can seat from 4 to 20 people, so that they can be used according to the number of people in the meeting. Since many training sessions are held in-house, we have separated the entrances for visitors and for employees who are undergoing training, giving consideration to the flow of traffic. <Our project members> [Development] Entoshi Okawa [Sales and project management] Ai Mukuo [design, layout] Shigemi Shimizu, Sayaka Koga, Mitsutaka Hagiwara [Production construction] Kota Shimizu, Kataka Odajima

G/D Lab.

G/D Lab.

Tokio Marine Group will establish a new facility in Ginza, Tokyo in April 2021 as a base for “agile development” that repeats verification and improvement in a short period of time. The engineers and designers of Tokio Marine & Nichido Systems will be concentrated to provide digital insurance. It is a workplace for the purpose of promoting the development of new products and services. The 4 floors of the existing building will be renovated, and the 1st floor will be an entrance gallery with a user interview room. The 3rd and 4th floors are office spaces for Tokio Marine & Nichido Systems. The 5th floor is configured as a co-working space that promotes co-creation inside and outside the company, and is concept design with the concept of a “creative social space” where communication is centered on creating a chain of creative activities, rather than an office as a place to work. Tokio Marine Group's message that "insurance is born from adventure and exists to support people's challenges" is the axis of the entire facility. I try to create concept design that exudes from the space the attitude of taking on challenges without fear of failure. As a place to accelerate the fusion of insurance and digital, we hope that this facility, named G/D Lab., will be a place to support new adventures for the future. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] The customer raised the keyword “diversity” to express the concept of a “creative social gathering place” where various human resources gather, However, my goal was to create a design that was conscious of a comfortable working environment and flexibility. [Solution] From the perspective of creating a comfortable environment, the lighting plan for the work area incorporates the idea of circadian rhythms, and employs fixtures that allow timer settings of color temperature and illuminance from morning to evening. In addition, most of the fixtures are movable so that they can respond flexibly to various work styles. Some of the furniture materials are designed to be environmentally friendly by adopting recycled boards made from upcycled waste paper and waste plastic. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Yasuhiro Urashima [Planning] Ryusuke Nomura, Yuga Okamoto [design, layout] Manabu Yamanobe, Shunta Nakamura, Shunsuke Ami [Production and construction] Kentaro Hirano, Katsumi Chikada, Kazuki Misawa

Bridge for Innovation

Bridge for Innovation

This is a project to build a customer contact point accompanying the relocation of Fujifilm Business Innovation Japan (former Fuji Xerox) to the new office building. We were in charge of the planning, design, design, layout the hands-on showroom "Bridge for Innovation" on the 17th floor of Toyosu Bayside Cross Tower, where the new office will be located. It was a project that needed to function as a showroom to find the direction of customer problem solving and lead to success, while at the same time being required to be a future workplace. I came up with the answer. In the solution experience area, no fixed walls were built at all, and it was composed entirely of highly agile movable fixtures, thoroughly pursuing a variable and movable space. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] It was necessary to enable flexible operation so that furniture layout arrangements in line with business strategies could be constructed in a short period of time. [Solution] We planned 7 types of movable fixtures in order to match the style of operating a variety of booth configurations that are updated on a daily basis to match product characteristics and customer characteristics. Partitions that completely block the line of sight, partitions that allow only half of the line of sight to pass through, and these overlap to create even more variations in transparency. In addition, natural zoning was made possible by not building a fixed wall and making the boundaries of the space conscious by color-coding the floor and ceiling. Under the floor, a flexible infrastructure such as a power supply has been arranged to facilitate functional conversion in the future. Thoroughly pursuing variable and movable spaces was also a challenge to organically control spatial functions without creating walls. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Natsuko Murakami, Shioto Kawashima [Planning] Keita Kobayashi [design, layout] Ryo Onishi, Nobuaki Saka, Yoko Uemura [Production and construction] Shunsaku Kimura, Riku Murata

Sunshine City SOLARIUM

Sunshine City SOLARIUM

Sunshine City Co., Ltd. directly manages the vacant section of the dining floor on the 3rd floor of Sunshine City Alpa to create a new style of community lounge. We were in charge of planning support, design, layout and construction. The space consists of a lounge space where workers can work at their desks and a kitchen space where different businesses operate during lunchtime. It can be used not only for work but also for meals, refreshments, and events. . In addition, there is also a café space where BYRON BAY coffee, which is popular for organic coffee, has a store, and as a place to connect "people and people" and "people and things", a wide variety of people gather and promote new communities. As a base for , it is a lounge space that does not dare to stipulate how to use it. The facility's name, SOLARIUM, means 'sundial' in Latin, so it is an original name suitable for this place where various people gather and interact depending on the time of day. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] Due to the changes in the corona crisis, the options for where to work have increased, so there was a demand for a flexible community lounge proposal that could accommodate them. This project required the creation of opportunities for communication and the flexibility of the space as a proposal for co-working with a kitchen that could only be possible because it is located on the dining floor, and as a community lounge that can be used by local people as well as workers. [Solution] Casters are attached to all the main tables so that they can be used in a variety of situations. In addition, so that you can work and eat comfortably, there are box-shaped seats that can be used for individual work, a sofa area where you can take a break, and a high counter where you can have a casual conversation with coffee in one hand, so you can choose according to your purpose and mood. We have a wide variety of seating available. In order to communicate that it is a place to connect with the local community, we asked Mr. FACE, an artist from Toshima Ward who is active globally, to create a work on the theme of "diversity" and "town of Ikebukuro". It is boldly laid out on the glass surface of the space. By wiping out the image of Sunshine City so far in a good way, it expresses that it is a place that takes a step forward and accepts new values. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Minami Hiramatsu [design, layout] Manabu Yamanobe, Noriaki Tamura, Kan Fujimura [Production and construction] Takashi Kodama

GREE Shinjuku office

An office integration project for five advertising media companies of GREE. The concept of this project is to create opportunities for interchange. This concept was born from the idea of "providing a place to create opportunities that create chance encounters and communication". The entrance space, which is the face of the five companies, is set to change the lighting color according to the time and scene through glass bricks, making it a space where you can feel change and movement. When used for events, it is envisioned to create a party scene in which the light has a rhythm to match the sound. In the office, we have set up a place called "Breakthrough Base" that will trigger interaction between the five companies. "Breakthrough" is not just a relaxing space, but also a place to open up the future and break through the current situation. It has the meaning of The floors are laid out according to the flow lines, and are planned to be an "interchange: crossing roads", and are used as a place for natural interaction between the five companies. The parts that are touched by the hands are aged, giving a feeling of liberation as if the sea breeze hits you in Shinjuku where you can't see the sea. It has become a relaxing space where you can feel the warmth and looseness that does not click, such as choosing plain materials and chairs with multiple concept design. In addition, from the idea of a fresh start, we created a minimalistic space without overdoing it. While creating a sophisticated and stylish space, the space is also studded with photogenic spots unique to a company that handles social projects. We have designed a space that is stylish yet gives rise to the expectation that something new will be born. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Masanori Yotsuya, Kaori Murakami [design, layout] Atsuko Ozawa, Keita Obana

Mobile communication services create a variety of relationships around the world, connecting people to people and people to things. The chain of individual communication that transcends countries and generations will eventually give birth to a global movement, and the appearance of a single large existence will be seen. It reminds me of the "forest" that is born. Gree head office office renewal

Gree head office office renewal

It is a total renovation project of three floors in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, where Glee's head office is located. It took more than two years from the concept to carry out the construction in multiple phases. The concept of this project is to "transmit Glee's manufacturing". Headquartered in Mori Tower, Roppongi Hills for about nine years, Glee's passion for manufacturing was expressed in the office space at the outset. We created the entrances, lounges, cafes and Future Labo's interiors and fixtures with an emphasis on materials to express the image of creating high-quality products in the spaces where many workers spend time, which support the three axes of Glee's gaming, advertising and media and live entertainment businesses. With the participation of customers, project members were actually involved in the furnishing construction on site, and the space was filled with the thoughts of manufacturing. The overall project management was handled by D Sain Co., Ltd. and the design of concept design was handled by Puddle Co., Ltd. Customer comments: The number of events and other events in the new space, which Mr. NOMURA helped us with, has increased by about four times compared to before the renovation, and the number of visitors is on the rise, so our company office is starting to revive. The space and fixtures are meticulous, so we can welcome our guests with confidence. < our company Project Members > (Sales and Project Management) Kaori Murakami, Shuichi Sakashita (Production and construction) Naoto Tominaga

Bosch Shibuya Head Office 10F "The NEST"

Bosch Shibuya Head Office 10F "The NEST"

Renovation project of the Bosch Corporation Shibuya headquarters. We were in charge of the planning, design, layout, and construction the renovation of the 10th floor into a communication space. Based on our experience of remodeling the 4th floor of our head office building into a communication space called "RE/SP," we believe it is important to create mechanisms that foster interaction among employees. Based on the concept of "SCRAMBLE for MEET UP" (people gather, hatch new ideas, and then fly outside), we aim to create a place where diverse employees can gather and interact on a daily basis. increase. Just like Shibuya, where Bosch's head office is located, we created a space that collaborates with various artists to express a mixture of encounters and exchanges, and has an open concept design that allows for open communication. I also participated in the Kotozukuri phase, such as logo concept design and event planning and management. [Customer's issue/theme] Aiming to revitalize internal communication and create innovation, we were asked to concept design a place where we could interact from a different perspective than the office floor. [Solution] We proposed a space configuration that would allow each employee to regain vitality and deepen connections. Specifically, with the aim of creating opportunities for communication that transcends boundaries of age and department, we will create counters where you can have casual conversations with a cup of coffee in one hand, places where you can relax on sofas, and spaces where you can exercise and refresh yourself. We divided the area into 6 major functions. By actively incorporating furniture and art that serve as opportunities for communication, we also aimed to create a place where accidental ideas that are difficult to come up with in the office area are born. We also have product displays where you can come into contact with Bosch's DNA, and it is also a place to give hints for creating innovation. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Kazushige Ishii, Kaori Murakami, Tomoyo Shishibori [design, layout] Manabu Yamanobe, Mitsutaka Hagiwara [Planning] Kenta Masubuchi [Production and construction] Tetsuji Koike
