Kiraku Obi Aiyatei

Kiraku Obi Aiyatei

[Project description] A project to convert an old private house located in Obi, Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture, into an accommodation facility. In 1977, Obi was selected as the first Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in the Kyushu/Okinawa region. Therefore, the exterior design had to be renovated on the premise of harmonizing with the landscape from the viewpoint of preservation. Therefore, we aimed to create a facility that has a high ability to attract customers by highlighting its features with a highly flexible interior design and furniture decorations. Also, on January 28, 2017, Nichinan City and Nomura Co., Ltd. signed a comprehensive partnership agreement to realize community development in line with Nichinan City's concept of "creating customers and creating people." On October 10, 2018, as part of the partnership agreement, we signed the "Regional Revitalization Business People Exchange Program" and dispatched creative talent Yasutoshi Yamano, who handles space production, to Nichinan City to work on regional revitalization. increase. Together with Nichinan City, related companies, and various other players, we have created the "Machine Development Guidelines for the Revitalization of the Obi District of Nichinan City," and held the "DENKEN WEEK," an event aimed at developing the historical townscape. We are working on regional revitalization, including space production of private houses. [Customer issues/requests] (1) We would like to renovate an old Japanese-style house into an accommodation facility mainly targeting foreign tourists. (2) As a strength of the lodging business, we would like to incorporate elements unique to the region. (3) I want to create a space that feels like Japan. [Solution] An old private house is one of the spaces in which Japanese lifestyle culture, the so-called "living style", is most concentrated. In this renovation plan, we wanted to make the most of the pillars, beams, ceilings, and other items that convey the scenery of the past, and to create a space that can be used comfortably by modern people with other elements. Therefore, the overall concept is "Post-Heritage: Inheritance and Transformation for the Next Generation," and we are searching for a new way to pass on culture. The tools were also selected with a consistent theme, and were composed of items that weaved Japan with various approaches without sticking to traditional techniques. As a result, we believe that this accommodation facility is able to provide a moving experience that will make foreign visitors to Japan more interested in Japan, and domestic tourists will be proud of Japan. <Our project members> [Space Producer] Yasutoshi Yamano [Furniture and accessories coordination] Yasutoshi Yamano [Design (interior)] Yukio Suzaka [Development] Nobuyuki Yagi [Sales] Toshiyuki Shirai Released: Nichinan City and Nomura, Miyazaki Prefecture Kogeisha signs a "comprehensive cooperation agreement on regional revitalization" https://www.nomurakougei.co.jp/uploads/news/attachments/1/bd685168ce469eb3f8f63ef2a5fe43c89bbc9af85df83d352763aa2eeb42e9cf.pdf ・ Release: Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture and Nomura Kogeisha Signed "Regional Revitalization Business People Exchange Program" https://www.nomurakougei.co.jp/uploads/news/attachments/1/aa565bf338f37cd539f269b55ea67caf32e4e527800fa28c89557f39ddf51f19.pdf ・ Other achievements: DENKEN PJM https://www.nomurakougei.co.jp /achievements/detail/409

Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk guest room and corridor renovation work

Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk guest room and corridor renovation work

[Project description] Renovation project for 148 guest rooms on 4 floors and 22 floors for corridors. Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is also a symbolic icon of "Seaside Momochi District", which was selected as one of the 100 best urban landscapes in Japan. In this refurbishment as well, with the motif of the comfort of being on a ship and the view of the sea from the ship, we imagine how people interact with each other from the connections between people in Hakata Bay, which has long been linked to exchanges with foreign countries. We designed Hilton Fukuoka with the aim of being loved by people around the world for a long time, with the shape and composition born from "fellowship", the texture of the material that makes you feel "a cabin", and the colors of "white sand and green pine" that are unique to Hakata Bay. [Customer issues/requests] Our challenge was to enable flexible use of guest rooms, assuming various guests such as business, leisure, inbound, and MICE. The design of the long corridor was required so as not to give the guests a monotonous impression. [Solution] We have added a trick to the bed headboard in the guest room, and by moving it to the center, we have made it possible to arrange one guest room into a twin type or a Hollywood twin type according to the guest's request. In the corridor, the trajectory of the ship is represented by the intersection of the gradation lines of the carpet, and the Hakata Bay side is the sea, the center is the sandy beach, and the city side is the pine forest. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Masayuki Yoshimori, Nobuko Abe [Design and planning] Keita Aono, Naoaki Yokoyama, Atsushi Watanabe [Production and construction] Takayuki Kara, Mitsuaki Kanayama

[Project description] We converted a samurai residence built more than 140 years ago in the Obi Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, a castle town with a long history in Kyushu, into an office where you can experience the local climate. The overall concept is "post-heritage: inheritance and transformation for the next generation", and by clarifying the points to be spun and the points to be renewed, we are trying a new way of connecting cultures. We aimed to create a space that connects with the local community by interpreting the life of a former private house in a modern way. concept design consists of two different spaces: a communication space with a large table using the bottom plate of the floor that was used in the original private house, and an open work space with a counter facing the green over the opening. increase. The gravel floor that is inserted between the two spaces serves as an intermediate area that connects the two spaces with the outside and the inside. The new terraced deck in the garden gently connects the inside and outside, and is used for events where local people gather and as a promotional space for products. [Customer's voice] By creating an attractive office space that can only be found here, where you can experience the local climate, not only local residents but also many local governments and companies are working on vacant houses. Kagoshima City Furusato Archaeological Museum

Kagoshima City Furusato Archaeological Museum

[Outline of the project] A municipal archaeological museum that was established with the aim of deepening citizens' understanding of the history of Kagoshima City through the cultural heritage left by their predecessors and contributing to the creation of a unique civic culture. In particular, hands-on displays such as the ``excavation experience'' where you can feel like an archaeologist, and ``Let's take a shape with a giant arc,'' which is a gigantic tool for examining the shape of pottery, are very popular. I am cultivating an interest in history. We have consistently assisted with basic planning, design and construction. [Customer Issues] Twenty years after opening, the museum is showing signs of aging, and there is a need to update the contents and equipment. Present the latest research results, introduce hands-on displays, and develop displays equipment that is bright and easy to update. displays has been renewed for The direction of the plan is the following three: the first is a region-specific displays that pursues "Kagoshima-ness", the second is a museum that aims to "create a place for hands-on experience", and the third is " This is the maintenance of displays environment as "creation of an environment for the realization of a facility that is easier to use." Through this, we aimed to create a facility where people from children to adults can enjoy learning about the archeology of their hometown. [Solution] The first thing that gives the impression of being “Kagoshima-like” is the huge topography table of the entire Kagoshima city, including Sakurajima, in the center overlooking the atrium space. There is an easy-to-understand explanation of the ruins of each place. Next, the representative of "creating a place for hands-on experience" is an experience corner for learning archeology in a fun way, consisting of a number of hands-on items. Then, as part of creating an environment to create a facility that is easier to use, we made detailed proposals such as the introduction of an airtight case that can control humidity, the introduction of a universal concept design that is friendly to people, and the installation of LED lighting that has a low environmental impact. . <Our project members> [Development] Tatsuya Fujii [Sales and project management] Tatsuya Fujii, Yumeki Kusumoto [Planning] Takeshi Jin, Kyohei Kishida, Settsuko Nishimura [design, layout] Sho Inanobe [Production and construction] Sadato Inoue Hayato Ichimanda, Abu Sue?, Shin Kameoka, Nanae Hori [maintenance management] Katsumi Yamada, Takatoshi Nakamura

Karatsu Castle

Karatsu Castle

Karatsu has been a window to the continent since ancient times. During the Edo period, the Karatsu domain was an important base for the Shogunate's rule of Kyushu, and it was also a historical and cultural city where the unique culture of Karatsu Kunchi and Karatsu Pottery flourished. displays Karatsu Castle, the starting point of Karatsu tourism, is expected to play a role as a circulatory device for city walking, making the most of Karatsu's shining historical and cultural attractions. We aimed to redevelop it as a facility that maximizes the attractiveness of Karatsu Castle and serves as a base for energizing the local community. We assisted with basic planning, design, and construction. There were three issues with Karatsu Castle before its renovation. First, the client wanted to update the aging facilities, outdated displays and outdated displays themes. Second, the city of Karatsu was underutilizing its attractive resources and needed to link with its collections and other tourist attractions. Third, the client needed to address safety and cultural property protection issues such as outside light, universal concept design, earthquakes, and theft. By resolving these three issues, we aimed to create a tourist spot that would be suitable for "a city of tourism and cultural exchange where the real thing shines, surrounded by nature, history, and culture. SOLUTION: To solve the issues, we aimed to realize "enjoy displays Karatsu," and implemented displays story development focusing on the history of the castle town and successive lords of the castle, displays realization of an attractive space utilizing Hizen Province products and Karatsu ware, and displays active use of IT, including introduction of AR for explanatory purposes. Next, with the aim of realizing a "comfortable displays," we created a space with a sense of hospitality, including a museum store, reviewed the flow line within the museum and gave consideration to foreign tourists and other vulnerable visitors, and installed restrooms, stair lifts, and a multipurpose room. Furthermore, with the aim of realizing a "safe and secure displays," we enhanced functions as an introduction facility for sightseeing Karatsu, such as a tourist information corner, appealed to visitors to make their rounds by providing information on sightseeing facilities, and thoroughly managed the risk of accidents and losses. We have come up with the above three solutions. <Development] Yumeki Kusumoto [Sales and project management] Tatsuya Fujii, Yumeki Kusumoto [Planning] Takeshi Kami, Shohei Kishida [design, layout] Masaaki Mitsunaga, Rie Morita [Production, construction] Takeshi Suezaki, Goro Yamano, Nanae Hori [maintenance management] Katsumi Yamada, Takatoshi Nakamura

The Food Times

The Food Times

【Project Summary】 The commercial facility "greenblue" of the domestic passenger terminal of Fukuoka Airport is underway for completion in the spring of 2019. As the entire airport is being redeveloped under the park concept, we are in charge of environmental planning for the commercial zone. We aim to be a place where not only tourists but also people in the city can gather, like an integrated park. This time, I was in charge of the design and construction of the food hall, which will be the centerpiece of the initial opening. 【Challenges/Themes】 ■ concept design concept "Captain's base" "Captain's private base flying around the world" Based on this concept, we draw a lot of inspiration from maintenance yards and airplanes, and concept design each zone and detail. Expand to. By giving it a story, we deepened the appeal of the space. ■ The best trip is from the best beginning: "If the waiting time is fun, the trip will be more wonderful." Based on this idea, in order to provide a way to spend the waiting time according to the purpose of each guest, we have set up a seating space with a different personality in each zone, and scattered concept design with a sense of playfulness. 【Solution】 The north zone near the boarding gate has a high counter zone where you can easily have a drink and board immediately. In the south zone, airplane parts were displays to create a museum-like space. The plan is to spend time while touching airplane equipment that you can't usually see. In addition, the central hall seats are equipped with original lighting inspired by the truss structure of the maintenance yard. It has random movements and creates a joyful bustle. The space in the back is inspired by the captain's study. I wrote a memo on my thoughts about becoming a pilot on the blackboard on the ceiling. 【Our project members】 【Sales】Naoki Goto 【Consulting】Sahoko Suzuki 【Design】Ryutaro Matsuura / Tomohiko Deguchi / Kosuke Omura 【working drawings】Satoshi Matsuo 【construction】Mitsuaki Kanayama / Toshihide Tsumagari

Yaskawa Electric Miraikan

Yaskawa Electric Miraikan

[Outline of the project] In 2015, Yaskawa Electric Corporation, which celebrated its 100th anniversary, reorganized its head office in Kurosaki, Kitakyushu City, and opened the “Robot Village,” a community open to the local community and society. The YASKAWA Forest is open to the public, where you can enjoy the nature of the four seasons. The “Yaskawa Electric Miraikan” was born so that research institutes and local people can experience it with interest. Therefore, we were in charge of creating a space and content for this facility that would bring out the appeal of Yaskawa Electric. In addition to allowing all visiting guests to experience and experience Yaskawa Electric's businesses and technologies in an easy-to-understand manner, it is a space filled with surprises and discoveries where cutting-edge technology and emotional sensibilities resonate. We have concept design all the elements that color the space, such as mechatronics, video content, and lighting, so that you can feel the world-class Japanese manufacturing and the future of Yaskawa Electric, which is the driving force behind it. In particular, there is a “robotics signage” that utilizes control technology that coordinates with the dynamic movements of industrial robots representing Yaskawa Electric, and a combination of 3D motor control that demonstrates the industry's highest performance and the latest projection mapping video. The "Mechatronics Wall" is a space production device that is unique in the world and stimulates the five senses of all who see it.
