Daiichi Shofuku Maru
For humans, who are originally meant to live on land, spending long periods of time at sea is stressful both physically and mentally.
In order to balance this, the "verticality" of plants growing vertically against the "horizontality" of the sea surface drifting horizontally, the "straight lines" of buildings and windows against the "curves" of waves and fish, The concept design actively incorporates ``land-like'' elements that conflict with ``sea-like'' elements, such as the ``feeling of floating'' of ships and air bubbles and the ``feeling of weight'' of trees and rocks.
The exterior has been dismantled and reconstructed from the name of the building, and has Japanese patterns such as lanterns and kumiki.
