Oji Holdings head office 1F entrance renewal
We were in charge of the planning, concept design, and construction of the renovation of the entrance of Oji Holdings Co., Ltd.'s headquarters (main building).
The concept is "forest field". In order to express the company's desire to move forward with forest resources at the entrance, native species of live trees and wooden fixtures are effectively arranged, and the focus is on realism, where you can feel the healing of the forest while staying in an office building in the city. I aimed to create a space.
The wooden fixtures are made from coniferous trees such as Sakhalin firs and larch, as well as hardwoods such as Quercus crispula and birch harvested from company-owned forests. We used plenty of solid wood to create a beautiful and warm space unique to wood.
As a company that owns the largest company-owned forest in Japan, it is not well known. I received your request.
Utilizing our know-how in woodification, we worked with Oji Group companies to select timber and native species of trees for fixtures, realizing a place of hospitality.
By effectively arranging native trees and wooden fixtures, we have created a space where you can experience the forest, which is the core of our company, even though it is an office building in the city. We have received many positive comments from visitors.
